Shortly after the big Tsunami in the Asia Pacific, I heard a TV commentator (weather channel I think) mention that the event was so powerful that it wobbled the earth a little off of its axis.

Any sites or additional info on this? Heard it once but never again.

The commentator was fired , due to incompetancy. He tried to move the blame to his audience, and claimed that many were 'just not paying attention', but it wouldn't wash. He shot his mouth off about things he only imagined, due to his lack of education, and poor parental guidance.
