I've never owned a bikini in my life, and I'm 27. I prefer the one piece because they're more modest - and in my opinion, more cute! And usually when I'm wearing a suit, it's 'cause I'm ready to play in the water! Bikini's are for lying out on the beach or wading around daintily in the pool. They have a tendency to ride or fall off. I think that some girls look really cute in them, but many more should probably stick to the solids. Way more flattering.
And, interestingly, most of the guys I've been in a suit around comment on how they appreciate that I wear a one-piece. Way less distracting for them, *and* I'm more fun 'cause I'll actually get on the waterskii's with 'em.
I DO, however, think that tankini's are adorable.

It depends. There are certain things that make it ok for a teen girl to chicken out and wear a one piece swimsuit such as if she is a loser, if she is fat, if she is ugly, or is hated by most others because most likely they will not want to see her in a bikini. Now if the girl is hot, well liked, and has a body that she should show off then there is no reason that she should not wear a bikini because one piece swimsuits are absolutly revolting for young people to be wearing.

some girls are self conscious of their body, so they wear a one piece. others want to show it off, so they wear a bikini. still others find a middle ground with a tankini. also, some girls have to wear a one-piece because they are lifeguards or on the swim team, where you are required to wear a one-piece, so that may be all they own. it has become a stereotypical norm to only wear bikinis, and that one-pieces are for people that are older. this is not true. it depends on the girl's preferance. also, it could be that the girl is prone to sunburns or skin cancer, and so a one-piece covers more skin, lessening a chance of a severe burn.

no way i think that if people want to wear that they can also dont u see all those awsome one piece suits some r pretty hot the suits not the models and i think 2 piece suits are just more 4 tiny people u can look at all of those overwieght teens in little revealing suits personally id rather respect teens who want to wear 1 piece cuz they know that it respects others while i go to the beach and see bigger peeps in one pieces u can see them all in 2 pieces also i thinks its hot when skinny or normal sized peeps wear 1 piece so mi short answer is no

no, y would I hate som1 cuz there not wearing a 2 peice? I mean, like what a bad reason to be hatin!!! - why cant old timers wear 2 piece? why cant teens wear one peice? maybe someppl just dont like them - - personally i like tankiniis and short shorts

What you wear should depend on your body type to some degree. and for gosh sakes, don't hate someone for what they wear.....And us old timers sometimes look good enough to wear something other than a one piece.

Why would anyone hate teen girls for any reason? Teen girls are at a vulnerable stage in their development. They are hardly more than children. How nice that a girl decides to wear weather and activity appropriate clothing. If anybody judges teen girls on something so ridiculous, they have learned attitudes from people with unhealthy and insensitive minds.

NOt true/////// a black low cut one piece suit is very sexy.
Bikini"s have a way of making your stomach stick out. One piece suits hide a lot of defects and can really be sexy////
Get one that is cut real low in the back and watch thwe guys eyes pop'

Uh no. Girls can wear whatever swimsuits they want. I personally give the most props to the one-piecers... They stand out from the crowd and don't stand out to men like pieces of meat!

for one more girls dont like the body they have and most of them instead wear one piece thinking that it will hide the love handles!! but thats just me!
