when he (Giuliani) failed to refute Congressman Paul's argument? Congressman Paul merely stated that actions have consequences, nothing unreasonable there.

What are your explanations for the causes of September 11th.
Here are mine:
America helped arm a group called the Mujahideen in their war against the Soviets in Afghanistan (1979-1989). As you should know, they succeed in driving out the Soviets.
In 1990, Iraq invaded Kuwait. The government of Saudi Arabia, concerned about a possible invasion needed help. The Mujahideen (or Al-qaeda) offered to defend the kingdom, but the Saudis refused. Instead, they called on the Americans to come, but to leave after the Iraqi threat was neutralized. This angered the Al-qaeda leadership, who vowed revenge.

So while, Congressman Paul's facts were not as relevant as they could have been. His ideas about blowback were spot on.

Chainsaw: I think its interesting that you resort to name-calling rather than simply refuting his argument. One might think your argument is too weak to be convincing if you use those ad hominem attacks.

Rudy is nothing but a neo-con thug. He is going to turn the US into a Police State. Ron Paul is by far the best canidate in this election and the reason he is being censored by media outlets such as Fox News, ABC News, MSNBC, Yahoo, and Myspace is because he is a consitutionalist, doesn't support the Project for a New American century that is being driven. It's a shame that Ron Paul got skipped on the immigration part of the debate because Paul would of talked about the North American Union. Ron Paul- a true patriot.

I agree, and Paul is spot on. Is Giuliani at the right parties debate? They insult Ron Paul, and then act like he is out of line when he speaks the truth. It is refreshing to see someone who just stands for what they believe and speaks the truth no matter what. He stood his ground and I believe he was right. That was the best part of the entire debate I think.

WHY is it so hard to believe the government is corrupt and capable of such? If you look at history you see that all governments have been corrupt, especially when they are as powerful as ours!!

I personally do believe that September 11th was an inside job and Giuliani was in on it. I lived in DC and no one I know saw a plane.

Look, Giuliani went through 9/11 on his own doorstep. His passion for not ever wanting that to happen again is incredibly strong.

Rudy was absolutely right to ask that Ron Paul rescind his statement. I can not believe Ron Paul said "America had it coming". A pox on Mr. Paul

He should know better. You rescind agreements, statements are retracted.

America did not cause 9-11. Paul is an idiot. If you do not understand what the problem is, nothing I say can help
