If you are looking for a jewel, then look in your heart. Beauty is as beauty does. Which means: if you act beautiful, treat people nice, etc. THEN you are beautiful. You could be the most physically beautiful person in the world, and if you treat people badly, rudely, etc. then you ARE ugly. I don't mean that a person shouldn't want to look their best, but God didn't make any junk, and we are all beautiful in His sight. So take good care of yourself, be clean, modest, etc. but by all means, treat others as you would want to be treated, AND YOU WILL BE BEAUTIFUL inside and out. God bless you.

The eyes are the first thing I notice. So I'd say that looks play a part on first impressions only. After that whether he's good looking or just so-so, the personality is the deciding point.

Who wants a guy that looks like Borat, when they can have Brad Pitt or Antonio Sabado Jr.
Advertisers know looks matter. They do not put a big fat girl to eat the snickers.

they do in the beginning because that's the first thing you see about a person, after that not so much. if you have a gorgeous face but a bad attitude then it makes you less attractive and conversely if you ain't that pretty but you have a great personality it makes you even better looking

I've learned that personality is more important, but there has to be some attraction there for it to work.

not if they have the right personality, but i go for looks first, but they are misleading sometimes
