fish with rainbow nose??

about 9 or 10 years ago i was like 6 or 7 i went to galveston and saw what i can recall as a dolphin with a rainbow shape about 3 inches long on top of its nose... but now i think it wasnt a dolphin but can anyone tell me what kind of fish it was or give me a pic or site.... thanx

Was this a freshwater aquarium fish called a dolphin? There's a fish like this that's a relative of the elephantnose. See the third photo in the group below the title in this link: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/FWSubWebIndex/mormyrids.htm
