Even an atheist society would fight like ants. You see it's not really about religion, it's about territory.

Well China did fight Russia at times and they are godless countries.
And Cain killed Abel and what religion did Cain follow?
The key to world peace is when the base desires of mankind worldwide is eliminated and peace and kindness and love reign supreme within the hearts and minds of mankind everywhere. It's not found in a religion. It is found in the right relationship man has with his creator.

Religion provides a vital block of foundation for peace in this world. One thing that prevents world peace is corruption. There are few in this world who actually values their morals and values, if we all valued a universal set of values, then world peace is within our reach.

Peace is not an object locked away, inaccessible, it is a quality for being consciousness liberated, becoming its own sun, illuminating its own life's existence. Know the Will is positive and the Judgment is negative then ask your self how does the self become that clarity in duality. When you know how, then you know how for others.
'Atheism, as the denial of this unreality, has no longer any meaning, for atheism is a negation of God, and postulates the existence of man through this negation; but socialism as socialism no longer stands in any need of such a mediation. It proceeds from the theoretically and practically sensuous consciousness of man and of nature as the essence. Socialism is man’s positive self-consciousness, no longer mediated through the abolition of religion, just as real life is man’s positive reality, no longer mediated through the abolition of private property, through communism. '
What is the ambiguity in that? I am asking a question, not making a statement nor declaring a belief.
'and postulates the existence of man through this negation'

You mean faith? But how are we gonna even eat our food if we dont even have a smallest faith (without faith you would starve to death for suspecting the food you eat poisonous).
Sorry to say this but i don't think there is a key to the world peace. There is a key though to make a better world, but i dont know what the key is.

No.
If you can't get along with your family, your spouse, your friends, your neighbours, your community, what would make any of us think that we could get alone with others considering such major differences as religion, culture, politics and social engineering.
Most people are unable to negotiate relationships with people they choose to have in their lives -- let alone with those who have little choice.
World peace begins by changing our language. You don't have to confront me. You can approach me. You can speak to me about any issues that I do which affect you. When each of us can approach others in our lives and resolve of diifficulties, maybe, just maybe, we can look at solving the problems of the world.
If you avoid conflict, or if you have difficulty approaching anyone in the world about a conflict that may already exist, then we are hardly in a position to assist others to mediate their conflict.
Religion only provides a justification for what we do to one another. The religious can also quote their texts as justification for their actions against others.

Why do people say stuff like that, like that's all people fight about. Come on, children fight about everything, and we just keep doing it when we grow up. Religion is just one excuse. Land ownership is another, politics, mines bigger than yours.......I don't like your color, I don't like your philosophy, I don't like your mother.....would you all get past the religion thing. There will never be world peace. People just love to argue.

That may have been true hundreds of years ago but religion is no longer the main reason nations go to war. It is all about gain vs. loss, if the numbers work out they go to war.

No. Religion is just an excuse for ambitious people to declare war. No religion will teach people to fight against others.
