Only thing I could say is go to Tool-Internet Options and clear out your cookies and temporary files. Actually, come to think of it, maybe IE is set to not save any of the temporary files / cookies? It could be forced to re-download the web content each time you go to the sites.

Try running antivirus and anti spyware in SAFE MODE. Do not trust only one antispyware, use two (no more than three). Use only reputable products, MOST antispyware products are in reality spyware themselves. Check out yours at Spywarewarriors or castle cops. Clear your temp files, clear cache and coolies. DISABLE add ons (tools/manage add ons) and DO NOT USE MORE THAN ONE TOOL BAR. One is good, more is NOT better.

There have been some issues with IE7. You may want to consider going back to IE6 right now.
However, make sure that all of your Windows updates are up to date.

try booting your computer into safe mode, and run ad-aware SE on your system, i find that running your computer in safe mode and the using a spyware killer tends to find alot more stuff that it would otherwise.
you can download adaware SE here http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html

Your dynamic (virtual) disk (C drive) may need to be de-fragged. Try that and any other "free" suggestions that may come in.
