Holy Crap, I forgot about that movie! Man, that was a terrible movie. But sure why not make a sequel? They seem to make sequels for movies that reeked, so why not? Don't know who I would cast though. Rosie O'Donnell as Mario maybe?

No way. It's already been over 10 years since they made that one, and sequels typically suck. If they made another one, it would probably have a ton of CGI and crap. I'll stick with the original.
