I used to really dislike Meredith. Now I understand that both her parents were nuts. That makes more sense. I think its good when the writers give background. I'm so sick of the story line with George & Izzie. Callie should take out a strap and commence slicing.

I think Callie is such a hottie. Her being with George is quite stupid. It won't last. What about the new spin off show with Addison? It looks like it would be good. However, all of them at this new clinic are so "California" pretty.

Ha Ha! You're funny. Yes, I've always hated Meredith and it always bothered me since she is the female lead on the show. She's such a wimpy whiner and morally she's been all over the map since the show started. Her worst moment was when she begged Derek, "Choose me. Pick me. Want me. Love me." I hated her intensely in that moment. Yes, the parents were psychotic nut jobs. Her mother was a royal ***** who had no problem sleeping with a married man. Her father is clearly a jackass, blaming Meredith for his wife's death. I can't stand the way she just stands there and takes his abuse. Who would do that? I wish she would slap him next time and send him back to the mental ward where he belongs.

Callie is great, I agree. She does not fit with George. Her only friend on the show is Addison. With her gone, who will she talk to? I think she should move to California with her to be on the new show.
How can Izzie love George, when her last love was Denny? Two totally different people!

I so agree. I really like Meredith because she is flawed. She's not perfect and she makes mistakes and yes now we know why. she has never had family in the real sense of the word. I love Callie and George and Izzy make me sick!

I know on all levels!
Meredith still sort of works my nerves, but at least I know I can see why. I wanted to stomp her father when he smacked her. He smacked her one week then yelled at her the next week. I could have kicked him!
George...oh my stars.....WHY don't they just go ahead and give him a MAN? I mean we already know he's a bonafide flamer, so just go ahead and pair him up with a dude, maybe Alex. They can write it in as Alex realizing he's actually gay...anything but have George married! And married to a thick woman like Callie! She needs a REAL man that can handle all of that thickness. George is a wuss.
