Now you have that song "Ghetto Superstar" in my head

"lettin' bygones be bygones and so on and so on..." whenever I hear that phrase, that song gets in my head..weird

It definately depends on the situation. Most things you just have to let go. If you keep trying and just can't get past it, try talking to the person. If that doesn't work, maybe it's time to move on form that person. They clearly hurt you more than your willing to forgive, and those people can't be in your life.
