Where you're writing an answer and about half-way through you just feel a best answer coming?

Yes I have felt that way for years. I do have social anxiety. I do not feel comfortable in large crowds. I am not a party animal but I often wish that I could just let go and have fun. I have discovered over the years that I need to be able to "connect' people to have fun. I need first of all to like then somewhat and then to feel comfortable around them. I am usually uncomfortable around a bunch of strangers. ONe on one I do pretty good though. I do love to dance though. I like to two step and in the area where I live we have 3 or 4 'dances' within 50 miles of here where people gather to dance. They are family oriented, no drinking allowed and really laid back. I went there for yrs and only got to know a handful of people. I guess that I am very picky in who I hang with.

Yup. But most of the time I'm just kidding myself. Have you ever noticed how many "Best Answers" go to the ones that aren't? I've noticed that I seem to get the odd B.A. and when I peruse the other answers and find the spot-on right one, it hasn't even been recognized. I really don't feel I deserve it at those times.

Yeah, sometimes- it's a nice feeling but generally I don't pay much attention to that either & mostly because I kind of more enjoy the process of answering itself and so often get a bit too wrapped up doing just that....

Yes, I do get those "best answer" feelings, especially when I take my time to read the Question asked and thinking about an answer to it. That's when I get chosen for best answer.

No, because I answer a question for the question itself and not because I am working on getting a "Best Answer."

oh yeah. this mourning i answered a question in the single and dating section and i answered it from a guys point of view etc. and i felt i would get the best answer and i did in the after noon.

No, I am usually suprised by the answers I give that do get best answer.

i never know if it will be a best answer or not. i just try to answer truthfully and think about the question first. i don't give flip answers, i take the question seriously. :)
