Poverty is the most ignored issued with the politicians all concerned about how to win in the next election by getting moey from the coffers of government to finance their campaigns.

Usuary, is crushing the economy.
When the Federal Court Ruled that Banks could charge intrest depending on thier location rather than that of the person recieving the loan they opened Pandora's Box.
For twenty years Congress has been sitiing on it's hands, or stuffing thier wallets, while Americans have been gouged daily.
Limit Intrest and fees on ANY loan or Credit Card to 18% APR.

Global warming. If they acknowledged it then they would be forced to take actions that would keep a lot of companies from making as money, like oil companies.
Doing the right thing doesn't matter anymore to the government and corporations, just the Allmighty Dollar.
