The kids I had in DARE as an officer were so great and it really was like being a star. I would have them rush up to give me high five or a hug, it was great!
I still have to be sure I don't look like a total mess when I go to the store because there are hundredsd of former DARE students I run into... I don't want to look like I just got out of bed..
They are really great and it was some of the best duty I ever had on the police department. And that is saying something because I loved being a motorcycle cop also.

My dog thinks I'm groovy , she will stare at me in adoration for hours and lay on the hard floor instead of her soft cooshy bed just so she can be near me . She lays by the front door until I get home so she can be the first to greet me . Even when I am still wearing my pajamas at noon and haven't thought about running a brush through my hair , she thinks I am wonderful .

My daughter. I've always let my girls have their karate friends over to the house...pizza parties, movies, etc. It was almost a weekend event. All the kids called me "mom". My daugher is always telling her friends what a cool mom she has. She tells me how much she loves me, and can talk to me about anything. We have an awesome relationship. I can be the mom as well as a best friend. That's not always easy to do.

My 4 year old son Cody, he just thinks the world revolves around me! (He is wrong... but I love it) He has a way of making me laugh even on my worst days! He will give me a big hug and say Mommy I love you....and you know something I just melt when he says and does that!!!

I genuinely have a pal who on occasion brags too. i don't possibly pay interest to it..I merely respond with a "Hmm...incredible" or "cool" in an particularly "i'm not involved in what you're saying" tone. Or I brag approximately something greater useful ;)

I have a 6 year old son who thinks the sun rises and sets around his mommy. I wish he could be my momma's boy forever. He's growing up so quickly.
