Hmmm, I don't want to open Pandora's box by any means, but I think my answer might just do that...

Think of the great philosopher, teacher, leader who spent his adult life with criminals, prostitutes, and thieves... Short term he was judged to belong with these folks, and was actually convicted and sentenced! In the long run though, he has followers who proclaim him as the Son of Man.... This could be marketing, I don't know...

Organized religion (any flavor) has always had a knack for raising money for causes; ...Heck, publicity could be a cause.

I'm just looking at this in a purely logical sense, I'm not bashing anyone.... Step out and look in for a change of perspective, and see what others may see.... It's a good vantage point from time to time.

So the answer?? Yes and No... But No, ONLY if you have the backing....!
:-)

No Its Not Right But People Will Judge You Anyway.. Don't Worry Bout Being Judged By Anyone But GOD Because In The End That's The Only Person You Have To Answer To.. You Know Who You Are And What You've Done So Let People Assume What They Want And Make An *ss Out Of Themselves...

bieng "judged" in anyway is not right. I really have a hard time with people who judge other people in general. Even if you are hanging out with the wrong crowd or a person who may be considered - I don't know - different, does not mean you are that way to. It could simply show you have a big heart - and you my friend , are not judging people - the way they are judging you. :-)

If it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck and swims like a duck it must be a duck. Knowingly keeping the wrong company is not a bright idea. Guilty by association. If you unknowingly do so GET AWAY when you do find out. Just keep the right company.

It may not be right but it happens all the time. Who you keep company with does declare to the world that you enjoy being around them, either because you're similar to them or you enjoy their company, which means if they seem like a stupid, mean person and you're around them, it doesn't look good for you. But if you're around people of good character, then people will think more highly of you.

Yes, but you should also be judged by why you keep the company that you do keep.

Friends influence friends. That means that if someone is bad or trouble, then they can influence someone who is not to become that way. But the reverse is true as well. Someone who is good can influence someone who is bad. So just because the crowd you hang around with might not be the best, it is your motive for being with them that matters as well. Is it to be influenced by them, or to influence them?

No its not but unfortunately your judged by the people you hang out with. A friend of mine almost went to prison for that very reason. Several of his friends got into serious trouble and are serving 25 to life. He was found innocent.

The company you keep says alot about who you are. Your friends are a reflection of the qualities you hold dear in life. It is very hard to hold a conversation with someone you have nothing in common with. Your friends, with whom you converse often, have similar interests or else you wouldn't be friends. So in a nutshell, you are who you hang with. So, if you are concerned , with how others see you, you would need to make sure the people you are with, reflect positive and honorable qualities.

Most definately it is true we do become or are like those we are with. Like it or not we are as we are. Looks, dress, company, what we say, what others say about us and a few more but miner ones.

First impressions often are correct but not always. First impressions are how we look and what we say.
