No you are not crazy...why sell something that is worth more than money can buy.

Absolutely not. Me I have this old and battered Mosrite, which I ignore the year, but I do know Ben Shepherd, ex Soundgarden played one on SNL. It even was white as mine used to be!!!

I love that axe and have resisted the temptation of buying a new one, even if, as I said, it's really beaten.

If you can, keep it. You can get a new rig, but I don't think it will ever have the same sentimental value.

There are two things I regret selling, my first bass, a Gibson EBO and my first guitar, a '64 Fender Strat. Don't sell it, if you need money, sell blood, sell your pets, sell your children, but hang on to that bass.

Cool man. Maybe we can play together. I play bass too. I know what you mean. It's special to you. You ain't crazy. Keep it and cherish it and then teach your children and it will be enjoyed for generations to come.

Absolutely not. Although I can't play anything but the radio, don't sell it. It seems to me that the first anything they ever bought- or recieved- they never sell. Especially musicians.

It sounds like someones giving you a hard time about not selling it. If it's that important to you, then definitely keep it.

Your not crazy, if you don't want to sell it, then don't it special to you, everyone has something that's special to them.

Keep it, you'll be glad you did. And don't let anybody talk you into getting rid of it either. I still have my very first SLR 35mm camera. I never use it, but I have it for sentimental reasons.
