Absolutely not. You're already working towards a goal, so you're far ahead of the game. At the very least, you're gaining experience. Most people regret that they didn't start working towards their goal when they were younger. But never presume you already know EVERYTHING you need to know. If knowledge is power, don't cut off the source. I'm a huge movie buff, and the best movies are made by those who started early. Keep working, do your best, and keep looking for more knowledge.
Don't let anyone discourage you. I wanted to do something similar when I was young. When I was 11, I wrote a (horribly bad) script to act out with my friends. I let people discourage me, and I've never been able to retrieve that confidence. Do you want to say to yourself like I do, "What could I have done if I hadn't given up?"
It's not a dream, it's not a hobby, etc. You've obviously researched this and spent considerable time on it. As far as I'm concerned, you're working on a career. Keep doing it, and let me know how it turns out!!!

Yes you are, especially if you think you know everything there is to know about it. I have been in the field for a number of years and don't know everything. I will never know everything due to the fact that the field is changing all the time, neither will you. Unless you have actually shot a film i don't recommend starting with a feature length film, start with shorts. Shoot 4 to 7 min films so you can fine tune your skills and then when you are constantly putting out good looking shorts, you then go for the big one. Also know that whenever you shoot anything there is no such thing as no budget. You will spend money on all of your shoots even if it's just to buy tapes. I have allot more advise but you have probably already stopped reading having lost interest.

You're not too young to make films, absolutly not. It's a great idea.
You're much too young to say something like "I've already learned everything I need to know about filmmaking."
Any filmmaker worth their salt would say that you've NEVER learned everything you need to know. You should be constantly learning, evolving, and growing as a creator.
Shooting a film is very hard work, I wish you a lot of luck with it. Make sure you get people you can rely on, not just people you like. Reliable people are worth their weight in gold on a film project. People that are just fun to talk to or popular often let you down.

No, you are not too young. Be careful in thinking that you know everything there is to know in film making that is when you will soon discover, you know very little.
Stay open to ideas and explore. Network! Network! Network. This business is all about who you know. Talent is important but not as important as who you know.
I have been a Talent Agent, actress, extra and amateur filmmaker for many years and I am still a babe at this industry.
Remember this is just a job, at your age, enjoy your youth, take your time, enjoy the journey. I have seen too many kids your age get thrust into this industry and they lose their youth. Just remember, live your life everyday so that when you look back, there are no regrets.

You are not too young to make a film. You get experience by doing--so start doing. When you have finished wirte another script and film another movie--however long or short.
Your friends and family will probably enjoy acting in and watching the films.

Trust me, you will NEVER learn everything you need to know about filmmaking. But, if you have the resources, then by all means go for it. I'd just like to know where you're getting all this money from?

No I don't think you are to young to make films. It will be hard getting your films out and viewed by the right people to make it a hit. I hope that you do make it and we see something you have made in the near future...Good luck with every thing.

Just by saying you "know everything there is to know" about ANYTHING shows how young (immature) you are. You will never, EVER know "everything" about filmmaking, if you live to be 100!
However, I do not think you are to young to start pursuing your dream. GO FOR IT!!

If you have the means to make one, go for it. I used to write scripts and me and my friends would film them back when we were 14 but it died out when we got into other things.
