How many of you have seen the movies, "Tender Mercies", and Baghdad Cafe, I think they are true love stories.

They were both produced in the 1980's.These movies, are rich with nuance, and are the most accurate love stories I have watched. I'd like to know the two most influential movies you have seen, love story or not.

I actually lived in the house that the movie Tender Mercies was filmed in. We moved in after they made the movie. I remember how the whole town was in an uproar over "famous" people being there. The two most influential movies I've seen are:

1. Sweet Magnolias
2. Fried Green Tomatoes
