(5i-12j)/13 ... i...i. On b and c you ignore the constants because they only translate the vector without changing its length or magnitude.

Use the following formulas:
unit vector=vector/length of vector.
length of vector ai+bj=sqrt(a^2+b^2)
Example:
a) u=5i-12j
length u=sqrt(5^2+(-12)^2)=
sqrt(25+144)=sqrt(169)=13
unit vector=(5i-12j)/13=
= (5/13)i-(12/13)j
Hopefully you can do the rest .

a
X = 5i - 12j
|X| = √(5² + 12²) = √169 = 13
Unit vector = (1/13).(5 - 12 i)

b.
X = 3 + 3i
|X| = √(3² + 3²) = √18
Unit vector = (3/√18).(1 + i)

c.
X = - 4 + 3i
|X| = √25 = √(5² + 5²) = 5
Unit vector = (1/5).(- 4 + 3i)
