You can get cellular interface cards to connect to cellular networks with your computer. The cards are not routers just modems. I have not seen any cellular phones that can be connected to a router.

Sorry but no, you will need a USB cable and the software for your Cell Phone model, and install it on your computer, but some phones are also Pocket PC with WiFi, if so it will connect to your router or you can even Peer to Peer between your WiFi Laptop, anyway if you do make sure us use a web sight for cell phones or pocket pc like yahoo has.... I use my Toshiba pocket pc with my router or any open router i can find all the time and get my e-mail....

I don't think cellphones can communicate with routers. Maybe if your cellphone has bluetooth and you have a bluetooth card thing in your computer, then maybe.

next best thing if your phone has bluetooth yes but you would need a bluetooth adapter for the computer, and then you would only be able to update you contact list

i dont think so becaus they operate on diffrent frequencies but i have seen it to where a motorola blue thooth device controled an entire machine with voice commmands.
