In my opinion, the movies that were made when Walt was alive are the better ones.

"The Fox and the Hound"
"The Jungle Book" (the last movie Walt was involved in before his death)
"The Sword and the Stone"
"Alice and Wonderland" (wasn't one of Walt's least favorites)
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (the very first full length animated feature. it premiered at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood on December 21, 1981)
"Sleeping Beauty" (first film to be done in 60 cinema scope. it has beautiful classical music. has my favorite villian of all time)
"Summer Magic" (excellent film with Haley Mills)
"Bed Knobs and Broomsticks"
"Mary Poppins" (Julie Andrews did not want this role at first. she wanted to play Eliza Doolittle instead)
"Robin Hood"
"Cinderella"
"The Rescuers"
"The 3 Caballeros"
"Mickey and the Beanstalk"
"Peter Pan"
"101 Dalmatians"
"Fantasia" (the wizard in the movie is named Yensid, which is Disney spelled backwards)
"The Aristocats"
"The 3 lives of Thomasina"
"The Shaggy Dog"
"That Darn Cat"

The list could go on forever. I'm a big Disney fan. Write me anytime. If you haven't seen most of these films, you aren't a really big Disney fan. Have fun on your movie night!!!

Sequels are dumb. Walt Disney used to say that if he had to make a sequal that means that he has run out of ideas. True Disney fans will pay no attention to sequels.

There are alot of good Disney movies. I'd suggest narrowing it down to a theme.

Like fairytale princesses: and have the classics, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beaty, and then also have Alladin, the little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast

Or you can do a Cat movie marathon: Aristorcats, Oliver and Company, The three live of Thomasina, The Cat from Outerspace, and of course That Darn Cat.

A sea theme with Pirates of the Carribean, Swiss Family Robinson, The Little Mermaid, and Pocahontas.

Or a mouse night with :The Rescuers, The Rescuers down under, Cinderella, and Fantasia (just because of Mickey)

hi

I cried when i watched as a small boy Pinocchio.
Peter Pan 1 & 2, Snow White & the Seven Dwarves-It was during the time Pepsi Cola was having this promotional tie-up
with Disney that made it all memorable here in the Philippines.Finding Nemo is a real blast! I have a former officemate who did the "Bahay Kubo" design inside the aquarium. So Nemo falls as one of my fav. Then Cars.

It's personal preference I guess. Some Disney movies have more of a lightening mood, and others have more of a dark mood to them. Some are more funnier than others, and some feel kind of placid. But it's up to you personally, it just depends how you would want to start out the evening, and Anastasia is a Disney movie. I haven't seen Thumbelina so idk about that movie. It's funny how racist and stereotypical Disney are in their movies lol
