When dividing factions such as a/b divided by c/d, this is the same thing as a/b times d/c. Multiply by the inverse.

So

1. 2/8 / 1/8 = 2/8 * 8 = 2

2. 5 / 5/6 = 5 * 6/5 = 6

3. 3-2/3 * 4 = 3 * 4 + (2/3 * 4) = 12 + 8/3 = 12 + 2-2/3 = 14-2/3

You could also do this by making 3-2/3 = 11/3

11/3 * 4 = 44/3 = 14-2/3

This should help you do the rest. If you need more help, e-mail me.

1. 2/8 divide by 1/8

reduce 2/8 first and in order to reduce you can divide both numbers (denominator and numerator by 2) so that makes 2/8 = 1/4
then divide by 1/8. to divide you have to flip the 1/8. meaning you have to flip the denominator and numerator so that makes it 8/1. once you flip it then multiple 1/4 times 8/1 and that makes 8/4 then 8/4 is just 2.

2.) 5 divide by 5/6. flip 5/6 which makes it 6/5, then multiple 5 times 6/5 which makes it 30/5, then reduce 30/5 = 6.

3. 3 2/3 x 4 first make the first fraction into an improper fraction. 3 2/3 is the same as 11/3 and in order for me to get this is simply. I just multiply the 3 by the denominator which is 3, so 3x3 is 9 then i just add the denominator which is 2 so 9+2 is 11, and that's how i got 11/3. 11/3 x 4 is 44/3. three fits into 44, fourteen times and the remainder of 2 therefore the fraction is 14 2/3.

4.) 4/11 x 1/5 just multiple the top with the top, and the bottom with the bottom. 4/55.

5.) you shoud know that after observing problem number 4.

6.) you should know this after observing problem number 2.

7.) 10 2/3 divide by 1/3. 10 2/3 converts into 32/3. 32/3 divide by 1/3. flip 1/3 making it into 3. 32/3 x 3/1 = 96/3=32.

8.) you should know this after observing problem number 7

9.) same as problem 8

10.) and 11.) you should know after observing the above problems.
