sort of laying/falling asleep position on the sofa but currently with my laptop on the coffee table I dont fall asleep and I dont take that much notice of the TV

I believe the term is 'shlump'.
You sit, then slide your a-rse forward to near the edge of the sofa and put your feet up, leaning back so that your chin's almost touching your chest.. You're half lying down, half sitting. Bloody awful for your posture, but we're all gonna die someday so to hell with posture, eh? ;-)
