Mostly I'm interested in human cloning. Most people don't like the idea of it. It's probably a good idea but is it for the future? If human cloning was allowed legal, like do you think there would be disagreements in future between real people and the cloning population? Would cloning humans help the population? I have to do report on it and want to know what people think about it.

I think cloning may be possible, but I don't see why it would be useful. As you know, the population is raising quite quickly on its own without the help of cloning.
I suppose if we had a scientist as wise as Albert Einstein, it may be useful in order to preserve his wisdom. Otherwise, I doubt it would do any good.

Regarding your additional details, clones would be real people. If you looked at a population and there were some clones mixed in, you wouldn't be able to tell which ones they were.

Please think through why you believe clones wouldn't be real people. That would be an interesting topic for your school project.

Both. While cloning a human is not particularly wrong with it, it is its own living organism, cloning an identical copy of a patient who needs an exact match for a heart transplant, just to harvest the organ from the clone, is obviouslly unethical. The promise of stem cells holds a much more socially agreeable method for this kind of treatment. Although, overall, cloning a human just to do it would be remarkable and i think it would be amazing to see it done.

People have seen too many horror movies and are too afraid of nothing. I'm all for cloning if a person wants it. Right now it's difficult so can be controlled but in 20 years you'll be able to do it in your basement lab so it won't be controllable; it will be common.

I think it is scary. I'm reading a series of books right now that has clones in it and the clones are evil. Makes you think what science can really do if tempted.

I believe it is wrong. God created all of us as individuals. It would be an insult to his work to create a new person identical to one of his masterpieces. Sort of like someone remaking an artists paintings.
