The only chance you have to be recruited is to participate in a football camp. My son attended college on a football scholarship, and we learned that what happens in the camps is more important to coaches than what actually happens on the field. Work hard, find a good camp, and follow your dream. And if you don't get recruited, you can walk-on and earn a scholarship.

Doubtful that you'd be recruited to do something you've never done, but many 4-year schools and I'd imagine must JuCo's allow people to "walk on" to the team via tryouts. If you're hoping for a scholarship or hoping for some school to come to you, how would they even know that you exist? But if you pick the school, you may be able to try out for a spot on the team.

yup. all jc teams are walk on's. there might be a few what are called feeder schools that dont allow walk on's but there are literally about 5 of them..i believe nebraska has one-oklahoma has one ..those i know of. what a feeder school is-is a school that only sends its players to certain schools that have basically set it up to get those jc players. so you can walk on at your local jc for sure (and probably get some playing time as in all reality its just a varisty highschool football but with BUDGETS). just learn when the try outs times are and attend them. that easy.

????? Exactly how would you hope to get recruited in a sport you've never played on an organized team? It won't happen. Even your chances of making any team as a walk on are slim to none.

Nope. To be recruited you have to play the sport so that the coaches can see.

But you can be a walk on and get on the team.

yes it is possible but highly unlikely. you would have to be extremely good. not saying you aren't but you understand. it would be hard right?
