I think you should get a dog because you can train a dog and it is a lot harder to train a cat. Though cats eat less, but a lot of times cats run away. If the cat runs away you will feel sad because that is what happened to my friend. Dogs don't scratch the furniture and things like that. It's your decision, but I think dogs are better.

Neither. They are both environmental pests which kill off native wildlife when let outside and are one of the many invasive species which are taken around the world. Cats have been especially bad in places such as Australia. I would suggest neither.
