No. The lady of my dreams became my wife 57 years ago and is still the lady of my dreams, fortified by dreams of our four children and eleven grandchildren. Net result? I'll die a happy man with no regrets in life.

Actually the person of my nightmares became the person of my dreams....we work together and started off on the wrong foot, I have now never been so in love in somebody!!

Yes, once upon a time I met someone who promised me the moon, sun and stars. He knew what I wanted for my life and he spouted all the right things, pretending he wanted them too. Just as we were planning a life together he pulled the rug out from under me and changed his total personality. It was revealed that he had depression (perhaps bipolar) and that there was a strong family history of it. In addition, I had to realize that he was a selfish jerk who really only cared about himself and his own emotional survival. It was a tough blow, but I survived.
