hey ok guys thanks for your last answers, now, so how much does a 30 gallon tank with all the filter n everything cost? do you need to still clean it out but not as often of does the filter take care of all of all that ? thanks for your help everyone :)

A 30 gallon with the works would probably run about $200 total. I would watch the paper for used tanks in the want ads, I have bought quite a few tanks that way for way less than new.
With a filter on a tank, generally you want to change about 25% of the water once a week. They make a gravel siphon for that and you can get one at any pet store for about $10

I got my two 20 gallons at walmart for 100$,it was a kit with the filter and heater included.I think the 30 gallon kits are about 20- 30 dollars more.
