I am trying to add background music to a video. Is there a way to do this? BTW: I want the music and the video sound mixed together. THX

You need some sort of Video Authoring software. As stated Windows Movie Maker is free and probably on your computer but there are lots of others.

well the cheapest i know, is by connecting your camera to the computer and pass the entire video to windows videomaker. it gives you the option of putting a sound and keeping also the original.
It's cheap because the program is already in your computer. The only problem would be that your camera needs this 1394 USB thing and so does your computer.
My video camera has it, I just had to buy the cable.
Note: 1934 is not a price, its the kind of USB outlet.
