I have done a ton of research on this topic and am yet to find the answer. But yes I am in GT and my school 8th grade and we are doing a trial trying Lee for the murder of JFK. I would really like to know if he acted alone or had an accomplice in this tragedy.

The supposedly definitive book on this issue just came out. It is called Reclaiming History, by Vincent Bugliosi. The book is 1600 pages long, and has so many footnotes they had to put them on a CD! You might also want to read a somewhat shorter book called Case Closed by Gerald Posner, which also proved that Oswald acted alone. Posner's book is excellent, and you should be able to find it at the library. But the conspiracy theories will probably never die.

there are a lot of theories on JFK's killing. they have done experiments, researched and they are still not 100% sure if lee killed him, if he acted alone or if lee did not and an accomplice did. i do not think that we will ever find out 100% for certain that lee actually acted alone, and actually killed him. you can go under the discovery channel i believe and they had a segment about the murder of JFK and all the possible ways that it could have happened including that the killer did not shoot from the book store but from somewhere else. it was really fascinating watching this. hope this helps good luck at your mock trial not to long ago i think in early 2006 there was some rare footage that was released from a person that was there and videoing the whole parade, it is the only footage that they have other than the one that showed JFK slumping over in his car, they have examined the footage with the latest technology and still are unable to see much bc of the poor clarity and the shaking of the cam, but it did have the book store in the frame when JFK was shot. it would be real interesting to find out what really happened unfortunatly the technology is just not good enough to see if there was anyone there at the book store.

That is the million dollar question. The Warren commission came out with the conclusion that it was a lone gun man. But later in 1979 the United States House Select committee on assignation came to the conclusion that it could not have been only lone gunman, but there were accomplices.
There were many different theories on who id it. Two of the large ideas is it was either the Cubans or the Mob.
But in the end if it was Lee Harvey Oswald did not matter. This is because Lee Harvey Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby, which caused many of the conspiracy theories. It was thought that Ruby had ties to the Mob. But it didn't matter for Ruby because he had terminal cancer. So he died with any secrets he was carrying with him. Since he died before a trial could take place.

According to the Warren Commission-Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK and he acted alone.

I'm sure popular opinions would disagree--I wasn't born yet so I can't give you any more info except what the text book tells me to teach my students.

From what I understand, there is no way he acted alone. I watched a special on the History channel once and all the "facts" presented by the Warren Commission have been proven impossible.
For example, the magic bullet, the timing of all the shots and their accuracy, etc.
