Does anyone know the directions and information on the Salt and Pepper Trick? I think you put a mound of salt on a plate, and then sprinkle a bit of pepper on top of it. Then you take a hairbrush and rub in it in your hair, and then place it over the plate. Does anyone know anything more about this, and a website of more information?

Static electricity? When electrical charges in objects (e.g., salt/pepper) attract (or repel) the charges in other objects (e.g., the comb)... The pepper is attracted to the comb, jumps to it, acquires some of the comb's negative charge, jumps away, loses some negative charge to the plate, and is attracted again.

I believe that's how it works. I think I've even tried it before.

I think it has to do with the static generated by your hair when your rub the comb through it. That will cause the pepper to become attracted to the comb and separate from the salt.
