Yes, especially if you just got your period. It will be irregular for 2-3 years. After that it will become regular.

For some women their period will start a little earlier by a day or even a week each month. This is normal and nothing to worry about if your do get it in that month at somepoint. The cycle is only 28 days where as a month is longer so it wont come on the same day every month.

Some women have irregular periods. Infact, very few women have their periods on the exact day they are suppose to unless they are on the pill, which usually regulates the start of your period to within a few hours every month. I use to be on the pill and I would get my period every 4th Monday between 11-11:30 am.
Now that I'm not on the pill, my period comes when ever it wants, on any day it wants.
So, even if you are not just starting, it is normal for periods to be irregular. Some women only go 3 weeks between periods and some go 5 or 6 weeks.

yes, usually it can take about 2 years for your period to regulate.
Count the days between them and try to figure out your average cycle range.

Your cycle is not regular. It is not uncommon for irregular cycles for several months but they should become regular soon. If they don't become regular you should see your doctor.
