I think it is very important for all test playing nations to have coaches from their own country.
1: They understand the countries culture (Chappel and Woolmer failed at this)
2: They are better known and respected by the public.
PLEASE: Pick an Indian coach, Ravi Shastri sounds good.

I think he will definitely be an Indian. Lots of names are doing the rounds with the favourites being Sandeep Patil and Mohinder Amarnath but I would put my money on Amarnath because Patil has already had one stint as coach in 1996.

I think the bowling coach should be Glen Mcgrath,the fielding coach should be kapil dev and batting coach should be kapil dev and sunil gavaskar!
