I'm a lifelong Hulkamaniac but even I have to admit he wasn't a "freat" wrestler. He's okay at wrestling. But one thing he was damned good at was entertaining. No one and I mean no one could get fans energized about a match like he could. Even when he would be getting his azz kicked, he could get people into a match by "Hulking" up. The Hulkster also had great mic skils brother. And While he couldn't wrestle as good as others, he could take a beating just about better then anyone else. He also had tons of stamina. Cena is often compared to Hogan but I think Cena could learn a lot from Hogan because Hogan was better then him in every way. And Btw, Hogan has more charisma in his little pinky then Cena has in his entire body.

You'd think that one of the biggest names in Wrestling History would be a good wrestler, but it's not. Hogan is not a good wrestler and he has one of the lamest finishers ever, but to be fair, a lot of the older finishers were a lot simpler than they are now. He was an alright entertainer, the people did love him, and he played a part in making wrestling huge, but Vince created Hulkamania. And Hogan is not that much better than Cena, and Cena is still young, by the time Cena retires, I gurantee he will be better than Hogan, he might not be great, but he will definitely be better than Hogan.

Hulk Hogan was good but know he is all about money. He writes all his own matches he never wants to put no one else over, he demands to be paid the most money of any other wrestler. He just is a over the hill has been.

Hogan really wasnt that good. Anybody can be good when they have it their contracts that they have total control of their charecer and storylines. Like somebody else said Hogan was pushed down our thoats for years, and it wasnt until his time in WCW that people realized that he wasnt that good. Look at the Hogan Sting match for an example. Hogan had tremendous pull in the back and his poliics are a major reason that WCW folded.

Hulk was 95% charisma and character 5% wrestler. kinda like Chris Benoit's exact opposite. Verne Gagne once said of hogan, ".... I doubt he'd know a wrist lock from a wrist watch..." Talented entertainer? yes. Talented wrestler? hardly.

Hulk Hogan was one of the best characters and talkers in wrestling EVER,but his ring work was not the best though.Hogans offense in matches were WWE personified with kicks,punches,and bodyslams.

Isn't a little bit of a jerk afterall in real life?
I saw a few of his "Hogan Knows Best" shows on VH1 and he didn't act all peachy like you may think.
