Ok... well I am 14 years old. And I am Italian and VERY hairy.. lol. Especially down there (vagina). So, when I had my period, my hair kept getting stuck together, adn it was just getting annoying. So one day, i dedcided to shave IT ALL off. So now, down there I am bare. I didn't tell my mom... because i didn't think it was that big of a deal... adn i thought it was my own business and pluse i thought it would be awkward
but anyways, one day i was walking to my room from the shower ( i had nothing on) and she saw me. She had this sruprised look on her face when she saw me there. i ran in my room and got dressed. Later when I came out, she was all mad and like, "I can't believe you did that!!"
what did i do??? Is it that big of a deal?? should she be mad?? why is she sooo mad??????

She probably thinks you are having sex. Alot of women start shaving down there for sexual reasons, like feeling, pleasing a partner, etc. Explain why you did it and that you are not having sex. Moms tend to freak when they think about their baby girls having sex. :)

Your Mom thinks you are having sex outside of marriage. That's why she got mad at you. Your Mom is also out of touch with reality. Lots of girls started shaving down there when they were twelve years old. Most of them shaved down there for the same reason you did. You didn't do anything wrong. There isn't much you can do when someone has decided that you are not telling the truth. Maybe your Mom will eventually realize that she got mad at you for no reason at all.

Well, she shouldn't be mad. Have you talked to her about it since it happened? Because she may be surprised instead of mad. So, if you don't know ask her how she feels about it. It isn't a big deal. My sister did it when she was 12, haha.
But yeah, no need to get worked up about it. It is not a big deal. You did nothing wrong. So don't feel guilty. It's natural for anyone your age to do something like this.

if my daughter was that age and shaved herself bare (well one thing, I doubt I'd ever know...put a towel on next time...walking around naked? not in my house.) I would be bothered by it....cause the reason I would think of would be...you shaved it cause a guy wanted you to.
It could be a culture thing too.

She thinks you are having sex or that you want to. Just tell her the truth, that you shaved it because it was a problem during your period. Many women do the same thing for the same reason.

hahaha..LOL.. I experienced similar situation like yours. What happened to me was that I forgot to clean the bathroom after shaving..You know, like all moms out there, they think that it is for sexual purposes. Since your just a 14-year-old teenager, she thought that you engage in immoral activities. So next time, put your clothes on...

maybe you should tell your mum that the hair is annoying you. see mothers get think something completely diff, she prob thought it was something about you wanting to have sex and making it look better for a boy. i dont see anything wrong with it at all, everyone does it.

Tell her that it is hair and it will grow back. Just sit down and talk to her. Tell her your reasoning and don't get freaked out.
