Any ideas for a bed for baby... we are going to a friend trailer this weekend with our 3 year old & 10 month old. We will be sleeping on a pull out couch with our 3 year old son, my daughter is 10 months old, and we really don't want to bring our playpen if someone has any ideas as to where/how she could sleep. The trailer is actually a mobile home type thing and very clean, new & carpeted. Anyone have any ideas as to how to keep her 'contained' and safe during her nights? Thanks in advance!

either bring the playpen or put your 3 year old on the floor in a sleeping bag beside the sofa sleeper.the 10 month old cannot be left on the floor alone.that or get a bunch of blankets and all 4 of you sleep on the floor together.its just 1 night you will survive.or 1 on the sofa with a child and 1 on the floor in a sleeping bag or blankets with the other child.good luck.

When I visited my grandma's my baby slept in an emptied out dresser drawer next to the couch!

Have the parents co-sleep? It works, and baby will be safe and more relaxed knowing that mummy and/or daddy is close in the new environment.

Your best bet is to take the playpen. She is too old to be put in anything else.

Is there room for her to just sleep with you?
