No, we use all of our brains at a different time. The belief that less than 10 percent of our brain is actually used came from experiments where doctors stimulated part of a patients brain and noticed that the stimulation of a small area can move the entire arm. They extrapolated from this that if a small area of the brain can control so much, then we don't use much. In fact, as you read this right now, all of your brain is being used, but most of the energy is going to deciphering these words.

No, it is not true. You use all of your brain. Do you think that such an expensive organ ( 25% of you total energy out lay ) would be evolved to use only 7% of it? This is an old urban myth that needs to die.

PS You can keep putting the people who are telling you the truth,l " thumb's down " all you want, but that will not change the truth.

That's what my elementary teacher taught me. I don't even know how they figure out that we only use 7% of our brain. Most of our brain functions are in the unconscious, so I suppose you can learn how to tap into that.

Scientists still haven't figured out how the human brain works whatsoever. We don't have a clue.

Not true - that's an old wives tale, just like the one about a duck's quack doesn't echo. Research proves both are false.
