What brand, the setup information is usually available on the mfgs website. If you tell us the brand of router we can probably point you to the exact information you need to setup wireless on it.

http://linksys.com http://dlink.com these are a couple.

You will need to address your router. A wireless router is in all actuality a DNS server, so it has an IP, or internet address. Not knowing exactly which router, I'm going to take a educated guess with this. Try typing 192.168.0.1 into your address bar and then click "go" This should bring up the router. If this number doesn't work, try 92.168.1.1. It either of these IP's take you to your router, you will have to do a little digging around to find the place where you can turn your antenna on.
