times do you let the phone ring before you answer it?

usually if i see on the id that it is someone i dont want to talk to, i let it ring until it stops

When I get to the phone I answer it. If I am right next to it, I will probably pick it up on the first. If I need to run to it, or find it in my purse, it could ring 3 to 5 times.

I have a talking phone! It TRIES to pronounce everyone's name that calls. I wait until I hear that so I don't hve to look at the caller ID, and then I pick it up. It's usually about 3 or 4 rings.

2-3 rings... i have to look at caller ID for like a ring or so. Depends on how far away I am.
