I use both.

Its impossible from me not to have Internet Explorer because Internet Explorer is being use by my Windows Operating System. I can't perform Windows Update or get updates using Firefox.

For browsing purposes like third party, both of them are good also but one thing I like about Firfox it doesn't give me error much

Firefox for sure! The main thing attracted me to it is that it's NOT INTERNET EXPLORER! LoL. I distrust Microsoft as a general rule. After trying mozilla's stuff, there's no competition. F-fox is way more intuitive, and simplified. Tabbed browsing started here (i.e. copied the idea in it's latest) Firefox is better organized, and has more sensible features. And firefox IS NOT microsoft!
It may simply be a corrupted download, but while I DO have the latest version of I.E. it's incredibly unstable, and crashes almost everytime I use it.
And did I mention? Firefox is NOT microsoft-ware! That's a big plus for me!

I prefer Firefox.

IE 7.0 has a lot of the Firefox features though, so you "could" say that IE 7.0 copied Firefox.
IE 7.0 has anti-phishing and other security features that are by default on and really SLOW down your experience.

Firefox has built in spell check, so for places like YA, that is very cool. Underlines the text your typing with a red line if not spelled right.

You can set up multiple different search options and there are lots of plugins for Firefox that actually work well.

Firefox is free, try it, if you don't like it get rid of it.

Well... Firefox is good because there are less viruses for it. By this I mean that most people (stupid people...) that write viruses write them for Internet Explorer (because it's the most popular. Another good thing about Firefox is that you can get skins for it (different color schemes). Internet Explorer is also good because there is all kinds of support for it (you can go to microsoft.com and get all kinds of updates and add-ons) whereas firefox has nearly no support what so ever.

I hope my information has helped you.

Both. I recently got tired of ie lately because of spywares and stuff but I like ie so I upgraded to ie7 and it has been good. I still use firefox and netscape for other website like bank etc.... both ff and n are more secure... if you have a good security suite software then no reason to switch. ie, ff, netscape works the same way. Browsers.

Honestly, both. I love Firefox, but can't figure out how to get some graphics/images to work - it seems to block them. Plus, my work email only works on IE. So, I use IE for some things, and Firefox for others. Best of both worlds!

Both crash from time to time, but I have fewer crashes with Firefox. The only problem I have with them is that they're not compatible with a few websites. Other than that, Firefox is a terrific browser.

Firefox, definitely.

It's open-source and anyone, provided that they have the knowledge and wherewithal can improve upon it. There are a bazillion plug-ins for it which increase it's functionality, and it's one less way that Microsoft owns you.

What more argument can you make not to switch today?

Don't even get me started on stability, protection, and blocking pop-ups.

In my opinion Firefox is more reliable and faster and more up to date. I had a lot of problems with internet explorer freezing up every time i got on the internet.

Firefox. It's fast, secure (no ActiveX), tweakable, standards compliant, has lots of addons and plugins, can be made to look how you want. And Internet Explorer sounds dull, whereas Firefox sounds sexy. Yeah baby!
