Any router is good for the wii internet. I have linksys wrt54gs and it works good. :)

I have a netgear router and it works okay with ALOT of tweaking in the router options. Even after I get really slow downloads from the download channel. Just make sure you are completely turning off your Wii's power after you make changes in the router.

I have a netgear router and it works great with my Wii. I didnt have to change anything in the setup. When i got my Wii I simply tried to get on the download channel and the wii searched for wireless networks, found my existing network, and connected. It was very easy and didnt require any tweaking. Hope it goes as easy for you as it did me.
