Are they afraid of the truth? PC for the most part just means removing outdated words and using more accurate ones.

I'm guessing that many Americans are just plain afraid of change. It's like they want to cry whenever they hear the truth.

I thought it obvious, that political correctness just divides and is not at all inclusive! The more the powers that be can divide and seperate us, the more power they will continue to have and can keep us down. Aren't we all just Americans? Do we need to go out of our way to divide and seperate? Asian-American, African-American, Euro-American, if ya live in this country, pay taxes to this country, and live under our flag then you're an American with no prefixes. In fact, the only true African-Americans that I know are white, they're from South Africa, but now live here!!!! Grow up and stop whining!!!!!!!

PC is beating around the bush and telling people things in a way that makes them hear just what they want to hear. It's a fluffy way of communicating. I just like to say it the way it is. Now THAT is communicating the truthful way. Nothing is perfect, especially conversation. When you are constantly thinking about the correct way to speak at any given time it makes the conversation un-genuine and plastic. We do need to be respectful in our words and actions. I do believe that for sure.

They are not afraid of political correctness. Rather, they prefer to be factually accurate.

Advocates of political correctness think that they can change things by changing the meanings of words. The best that they can accomplish is confusion.

The function of language is to communicate. Why would anyone want to change the meanings of words, other than to cause confusion?

It is the fearful that acquiesce to political correctness. The rest of us say what we mean. The politically correct look foolish to the rest of us.

Political Correctness is far from the truth. It makes terms up to make the world a happy, cleanses place devoid of reality. You must be a liberal--that's the way they live--in their own little happy bubbles.

It is a matter of covering the truth. Some politically correct terms are good and changes should be made. But too often it is taken too far.

PC is nothing but the use of an euphemism to try to hide the truth, PC is also nonsense, jargon for the illiterate.

Being PC can go overboard to the point of nausea.
It's not about being truthful, it's about being ridiculous
Man hole cover or person hole cover

BTW: do you know why the cover is round?

Political correctness is literally a Stalinist term. And that is exactly what it is...Stalinism. It forbids free speech, press and thought. I am one of millions who will openly defy you regardless of the consequences.
