I do hate that, Reo. I do.

Then I end up talking to myself over and over and hanging my head in shame. Shame for my slow wit.

Yes, I used to.

All of you young folks, don't worry. When you get older, you'll have experienced so many people saying crappy things to you that your head will constantly be full of witty "gut-punches", one of which will surely apply!

When that day comes, crappy people will stop talking to you, because they've heard about "how you are"...

If you want to start early, try writing down some common crappy comments you hear, and think up some replies. When the moment comes, perhaps it'll leap into your head!

Remember, the best comebacks not only stab deeply at a person's insecurities, but they're also true, and let the audience know you're simply amused by the situation, not really hurt or angry. It's best if you can accomplish the witty insult with a smirk to some people nearby, then walk calmly away.

God, I've been around too many politicians....

I know!! I HATE that!! When I"m lying in bed that night I always come up with awesome answers, and I'm all like, why didn't this come to me before!! I hate it! Then I just wait for an opportunity to use my snappy remark someplace else....but that moment never comes.

LOL YA!!

My sister and I would get in fights, and the best thing I could come up with is something like "I know you are, but what am I". Then ten minutes later, I have the best comeback, but the fight's over.= )

Yes, that's because when in the heat of the moment we go in with a plan of what we'll say, then there are the things we actually say in the argument and afterwards we are left with what we could have said!!!

omg that sounds totally like me. after the moment is over, i would just sit there and think of all the great ways I could have reacted. instead, i usually say something stupid. xP
