First, clean them up.

(is that a zero?)
4z0/5 = 4z(0) = 0

1) (2)x7y - (2)4z0/5 -(2)2x3y - (2)8z - (2)9 =
14xy - 0 - 12xy - 16z - 18 =
2xy - 16z - 18

4) first simplify, get rid of the parens:

(x2 -4x + 1) - (-8x2 + 2x - 6) - (x2 + 3x - 5)
x2 - 4x + 1 + 16x - 2x + 6 - 2x - 3x - 5

combine like terms

(2x - 4x + 16x - 2x - 2x - 3x) + (1 + 6 - 5)
18x - 11x + 2
7x + 2

6) Again, combine like terms first:

(4x + 6x - 1) (2x - x + 2)
(10x - 1) (x + 2)
10x^2 - x + 20x - 2
10x^2 - 19x - 2

i can't read the first one so here is number 4
you have to combine the like terms, circle all with x2, now x2 is really 1x2 so you have: 1(x2) - -8(x2) -1(X2) = 8x2, now put a triangle around all the x terms, -4(X) - 2(X) - 3(X) = -9x, now a square around all numbers without an x, 1 - -6 - -5 = 12
so the answer is 8x2 - 9x + 12

1) 2x*14y-8z divided by 10-4x*16y-16z-18
________
10-4x*16y-16z-18 -8z divided by -16z = 1/2 z
14y/16y=7/8y
2x/-4x= -0.5x
10-18= -8
the answer is -1/2x* 7/8y- 1/2z-8
