The 4th of July. I love it because it's summer and BBQ time with family and friends. And we get to celebrate our unique form of freedom (the gift of being able to agree or disagree publicly).
Also the fact that we can buy "Deep Woods Off" (tm) at Wal-Mart for a good price. :-)

Hey, interesting question.
Christmas isn't a holiday; it's a season--it's like a big house people get ready for a p[arty for that you work on for weeks. there's music going on, plans being made, things being bought--it's an unfair loading up[.
Every other holiday is one day. So it would depend if you have family--I don't; or you're in a good place--I never have been; or if there's something you get to do that you really like.
So there's really only Harvest Day Festival (Thanksgiving), Saint Patrick's Day, Labor Day, July 4th, Memorial day and Halloween or even Valentines Day that are "major events". You could add in New Year's Eve and Day I suppose, Armistice Day and odd things.
So for me the answer's easy--the only other sort of major holiday is Halloween.

Halloween! i like it - all exciting & no stress. you could have fun the date - or not. you could bypass all out & beautify - or not. No presents to purchase, no issues arranging visitation. i like it simply by fact that is staggering & colourful, exciting, different & uniquely that is very own day. not the rest like it! Halloween as that is celebrated now could be particularly plenty an American ingredient, too - that is been cobbled at the same time from bits & products of different cultures & societies into this huge marvelous experience!! i like all of Fall - i'm satisfied from back to college precise on with the aid of Thanksgiving!! desire this helps!
