All my favorite songs talk about things I can relate to, you know things I've witnessed or gone through first hand. Then they are topped off with a beat and a melody that flows with the lyrics or storyline...and there it is...one of my favorite jams.

Purple Rain by Prince has always been my favorite song. The guitar solo is the best part!

Basketcase
The first time I heard it I felt like he wrote it JUST for me! I've loved Green Day ever since! (that was in 1994) I've seen them 3 times since then and I love them MORE each time! The latest CD, American Idiot, seems to hit me where I am NOW in my life (where as Basketcase fit when I was 14)! I feel a connection and like I've grown up with the band.

I love everything, except I'm not too big on country. I like the soft, slow flow of a ballad, yet the heavy head banging of a classic rock song.

that i can relate to them, i love it when a song is expressing the way im feeling at the moment like when i'm out at the bar i love hearing brad Paisley Alchohol, it's just nice to think that there is someone else feeling the same way as yourself
