help with interpreting with this poem?

I cant seem to interprete this but some have to do with violence.

It means that the most vile words, images, and depictions of pure evil we can think of are still an understatement that cannot fully describe the ill nature of violence, as the force of destruction that consumes and desecrates everything in its path.
