Every time I go to the doctor he orders a preg test or a fsh (Folicle Stimulate Hormone test). I went in today because of a sore back. I've had 4 babes I know what pregnant feels like and hubby had a 'V' 12 yrs ago.

This type of thing frustrates me also. I have been to 8 different gynos in the past 2 years, trying to be treated as an individual with specific, somewhat unique concerns. Each one (except the last one) has consistently ordered the exact same tests and prescribed the exact same medication that I just filled out the patient history stating that I had very bad reaction to the first time I took it. This last one seems to be the one. He has listened, explained my illness, and given me options for treatment. I hope he continues to be this way.

Some doctors ,yes they treat you like cattle. Ask him what is that procedure necessary for ?

Shop around, to find someone you feel comfortable with.

If he is going to prescribe you medicine that might potentially harm a growing fetus, why wouldnt you want him to double/triple check to make sure your not preganant? Simple medicines for aches and pain, antibiotics, etc, if not prescribed accordingly can kill/damage a fetus. How would u feel if he didnt go the extra mile to make sure and then u found out that you were one of the .00001 percent of women who somehow managed to get preganent even after a "v", then went on to find out that a medicine YOUR doc prescribed to you could result in you giving birth to an ill/damaged child? How do you think HE would feel if he found out that he was responsible for putting you in that situation? If you ask me, your lucky to have a doc who cares enough to go the extra mile, most just want to get u in and out asap.

Find another doctor. He's trying to rack up your medical bill so he can get more money from your health insurance company.

Your doctor is employed by you. If you are not comfortable with him. Find a new doctor! He's not the only game in town...

HELLO,
YOU ARE THE C.E.O. OF YOUR OWN BODY, AND AS DONALD TRUMP WOULD SAY, 'YOU'RE FIRED'.
FIND A DIFFERENT M.D. IF THIS ONE GIVES YOU OBJECTIONABLE CAUSES.
