Why are you asking this question in the movie section? He wasn't an actor......or was he? Maybe he was just pretending to be a man of God and was really bad at it. That would explain a lot.

No one is to blame for another's death unless they actually commit murder.
Falwell believed in God as a lot of us do and he did what he thought was right. No one is to blame (that I know of) it was just his time to go.
