So funny to read this question. Just two days ago, I was out planting with a friend, and her neighbor came over (who is also a gardener) and said she had found a five leaf clover. She was holding it between her fingers. I had never seen such a thing. She had just had a lung biopsy for cancer, so I told her to hold onto it ......It must be the best of luck.....

I have found hundreds of 4 leaf clovers and many 5 leaf clovers.I have also found them with 6&7 leaves.Yes they are rare. When I find one with 5 or more leaves I will search the area because often they grow in clusters. In one cluster I found more than 10 with 5,6,&7 leaves.

A four leaf clover is rather rare. If you find one, we always keep it because it brings good luck! But I naver heard about a five leaf clover.

I read somewhere that only one in every couple thousand clover has 4 leaves because of a mutation. A five leaved one must be incredibly rare.... you might even be able to sell it for a nice sum.
