Long chain hydrocarbon typically around C10 (Decane &c) is the bulk ingredient. Also traces of waxes, other lubricants, and a little silicone as anti-foam to make it pumpable. In UK diesel for off road use (ie tax free) also has a red dye to identify it

diesel is franctional distillation of crude oil.... what additives are in it? well ask shell...
